The Phoenix Series is built to handle the most severe weather conditions, from scorching sun to sub-zero temperatures; our integrated heater/blower keeps the internal components at a consistent temperature. The body has fine details such as cooling fins on the sides, to ensure longevity for years to come.
Zoom Laser IR Diode (ZLID)
For application that do occasionally get complete darkness due to cover or other environmental factors, Ascendent has developed its Zoom Laser IR Diode (ZLID) illuminator. ZLID Technology synchronizes IR intensity and area illumination with a motorized zoom lens for outstanding performance in complete darkness.

From multi-sensor systems to ZLID illumination, the Phoenix Series can be completely custom built to your specifications. Options include, but are not limited to, military connector, wiper, cooled and uncooled thermal cameras, megapixel cameras, ultra long-range lenses, radar integration, zoom laser IR diode, gyro stabilization, and more.

Our Ranger comes equipped with our highly popular 37X imager, it's an ultra-high resolution color CCD sensor for true day/night applications. A 5mm optically pure, flat tempered glass eliminates distortion and blurring to further enhance image clarity, even when zoomed in.
Thermal Imaging
The Phoenix Series contains an ideal body for housing thermal cameras. The Ranger can incorporate the latest thermal VOX core with a pixel size of 17UM to render images that are over 30% sharper than standard 25UM sensors and proprietary noise reduction for high contrast images resulting in greater distance and clarity over traditional thermal imagers.
