The Viper Pro is designed by Ascendent specifically for critical infrastructure protection and perimeter protection. It offers a compelling alternative to the conventional one camera system.The dual sensors payload enables the Viper to provide images in virtually any environment from heavy fog to complete darkness. The FLIR thermal imager provides long range wide angle detection allowing you to properly assess potential hazards, and threats at great distances around 9km with a high level of accuracy. Visible Day Night Optical Zoom Camera
The VPR-PRO-TI PTZ integrates 1/4" high resolution visible camera renders superb detail color rich images by day and clean crisp monochrome images at night. This camera boasts a powerful 22-400mm motorized zoom lens for FOV's of 12.5 to .69 degrees and zoom ratio of 18x. The viewing window is made out of 5mm optically pure flat tempered glass with AR coating that eliminates distortion and blurring that normally occurs, further enhancing the image clarity even when zoomed in. The OSD and coaxial controls allows you to configure the WDR, XDR, HLC, DIS, 3DNR, privacy zones, and virtually every aspect of the camera allowing it to be optimized on site for unparalleled performance.

Thermal Infrared Imaging
Unlike optical systems, which like the human eye requires light,
thermal imaging uses infrared electromagnetic radiation 900–14,000nm wave lengths (heat) and to produce images. All objects that are above -213°C emit infrared radiation, the amount of radiation emitted is proportional to the temperature of the objects and thermal imaging detects these minute temperature variations and thus accurately reproduces the scene. This allows thermal cameras to see through fog and heavy rain unlike traditional visible cameras that operate on 400-700nm wave lengths. The Viper Pro utilizes an uncooled Focal Plane Array (FPA) FLIR core with built in sun protection to eliminate damage caused by direct sun and parasitic light. When equipped with a 100mm Germanium lens, it provides up to 2.4km for human detection and 8.8km of vehicle detection. The VOX FLIR Thermal imager suites virtually any application by offering a variety of thermal imaging modes including heat variance, range of applications from marine navigation to boarder security.

Pan-Tilt Resolver
The heavy-duty PTZ driver is designed for extreme performance in the most demanding applications. It implements brush-less motor technology for endless 360° panning and micro step technology for precise .01° pan and tilt positioning. Advanced features – such as preset and auto cruise, will complement just about any existing equipment by means of Pelco D and Pelco P protocols.

TCIP Remote Connectivity
View all your cameras instantly and remotely, and control them through the internet in real time from anywhere in the world using ARMS (Ascendent Remote Management Software) with your laptop, iPhone or Android device. Because internet is often limited to low bandwidth satellites, Ascendent’s DVRs and IP cameras can record at one resolution, stream at another, and have integrated VBR and CBR to manage the amount of data and bandwidth that is used by each camera individually to ensure smooth operation on any network. Using the Tri-fusion platform, you can record, view and even operate up to 64 vessels simultaneously from one NVR allowing you to manage your whole fleet from one central location over the internet.
