The PTZ-36X-LIR integrates a visible 36X ultra high resolution color CCD and ZLID laser illuminatorr true 24/7 performance. The ZLID provides Active IR Illumination resulting in accurate fodetection recognition and identification of intruders even in complete darkness.
Zoom Laser IR Diode (ZLID)
Ascendent's ZLID laser illuminators combine laser diode technology with precision engineered optics and sophisticated electronics to provide extreme long range Active IR imaging that greatly exceeds both performance and distance of traditional IR LED illumination. Ascendents ZLID is ideal for applications that require over 1.3km (4,265ft) of illumination. Ascendent's ZLID (Zoom Laser IR Diodes) uses proprietary technology to synchronizes IR intensity and area illumination
with motorized zoom lens for outstanding active IR performance. Unlike other laser illuminator Ascendents ZLID eliminates overexposure, washout, and hot-spots to provide even illumination for distances up to 1,300m
(1,315ft) in complete darkness.
ZLID vs. Thermal Imaging
The Sigma Series offers significant advantages over thermal imaging by producing images with up to 500% higher resolution. Active IR also has the ability to see through windows and other optically
pure substances at night for both recognition and identification making it vastly superior to thermal and ideal for applications such as for military installations, homeland defense, and critical infrastructure protection.
Optical Sensor
Integrated optical sensor renders superb detail rich color images by day and clean crisp mono and high zoom capabilities monochrome images at night. ith its 3.4~122.4mm lens (432x w/Digital zoom). The viewing window is made out of 5mm optically pure flat tempered glass to eliminates distortion and blurring that normally occurs, further enhancing the image clarityeven when zoomed in. The OSD also allows you to program the WRD, Backlight compensation, privacy zones, and virtually every aspect of the camera allowing it to be installed in virtually any application. All these features, in tandem with the accurate pan and tilt drivers for long range say night imaging ideal for mobile or fixed applications.
Pan-tilt Positioning
The optics payload is integrated on a heavy-duty pan tilt driver that is designed for extreme performance in the most demanding applications. It offers endless 360º that utilizes microstep technology for precise positioning with accuracy of .0º allowing you to position the cameras to spot and recognize potential threats. With advanced features – such as preset and auto cruise, and tour and easy integration with new or existing equipment via Pelco D and Pelco P protocols.

The ASC-PTZ-VR-36X-TI is comprised of military grade precision engineered components and are manufactured using unique processes to offer absolute performance. All these components are integrated into rugged IP 66 sealed enclosure constructed out of military grade components to withstand the most brutal assaults and extreme climates (-30°C~60°C) for 24/7 operation in mission critical applications.
